Who We Are

Based in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, with offices in Roseville, Edina and Woodbury, Gilbert Law PLLC offers a variety of focused legal services for individuals, families, and small to mid-sized businesses. Representing individuals in litigation for employment law matters and discrimination claims against private and public entities, our areas of focus include disability discrimination, age and gender discrimination, whistleblower claims, unpaid wages, and sexual harassment.

We also provide transactional services for families with complex estate and wealth planning needs and assist with drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorneys, and healthcare directives. Additionally, we work with small to mid-sized businesses and advise on matters concerning startup formation and governance documents, ongoing business operations, and securing funding. What Makes Us Different?

We strive to bring our aggrieved clients justice that goes beyond just the monetary resolution. Many of our clients believe in making sure the wrongs that they experienced do not happen again to the next person—whether it is someone that is disabled, or someone who was pushed out because of their age, or because of their gender—we do what we can to negotiate for the employer to have more training to its staff and management, better policies, and a commitment to changing future practices.

We seek to find the most effective and creative approaches to bring you justice, and we do what needs to be done. If we can resolve your case quickly, and that is what our client desires, we will pursue that course of action. If we have to take the case to trial, we will do so. The most important goal is to see our clients satisfied with the best possible outcome to bring the justice they deserve.

What you can expect from us

You can expect dedicated attention to your case. We analyze and review your evidence and claims to determine what we believe we can do to bring you justice. We listen to your goals and strategize a litigation plan around those goals—whether it is getting your position back, obtaining reimbursement for lost wages, obtaining payment for your emotional distress of a wrongful termination, or if it is securing corrective action so this doesn’t happen to the next person—we work hard for our clients to meet those goals.
